L’articolo analizza le citazioni visive e plastiche nelle scenografie di opere liriche realizzate da Pier Luigi Pizzi. Tali citazioni sono una costante del suo lavoro per il teatro e rientrano in un progetto estetico totale, in cui la scenografia è ogni volta strettamente legata alla regia e all’interpretazione critica dell’opera messa in scena.

 

 


This article examines both visual and plastic quotations in Pier Luigi Pizzi’s operatic stage designs. A common thread across his theatre work, these references are incorporated into a wide-ranging aesthetic project in which each design is strictly linked to the directorial choices and the critical interpretation of the staged opera.
